  • To begin this short review, I would like thank our tour guide Alex on taking my girlfriend and I on an adventure of a life time. The time spent in this cave was both fascinating and memorable. Alex was very encouraging while he challenged us to conquer the "cheese grater" and "wormhole." I recommend people of all ages to experience Horne Lake Caves, and to try something new and out of their comfort zone. Thank you Alex and staff, keep on doing what you are doing!
  • Adventurous, fun outdoor experience. You can do self guided tours! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes with a good grip. Also a light waterproof jacket would be a great thing to wear. Cannot forget the flashlight!
  • This was a really great adventure for our boys they were able to boulder inside a cave, squeeze between rocks, scoot down slides, climb up ladders, get dirty, walk over a rope bridge, etc. The guides were awesome and we all can't wait until our youngest child is old enough to do a longer adventure in these caves!
  • Great well informed guided tours lights and hard hats included. Gloves are available and you take them home with you. I did the riverbed cave tour great information and where to place your hands and feet as the ground rocks can be slippery.
  • This was our first encounter on the Island. We had a reservation at Horne Lake Provincial Park. Beautiful Lake Front site! No electricity, but who needs that. The toilets are well kept outhouses and there are no showers to think of, but the lake seemed awfully warm for the 2nd week of June. Firewood is available for sale at the front office as well as Kayak rentals. We were blown away by the beauty of this location around the lake. Very friendly ducks wander into the campsite looking for scraps or to be fed. It's just breathtaking. I wish we had given ourselves more time. We had a Tour booked at the Caves, and low and behold, there was a walking path less than 30 minutes walk to the caves. We didnt even need to drive. Which we were happy about, we expected to be dirty and wet, no need to get that in the car. The tour was soooo much fun, even better than we were hoping. Again, I wish we had more time, we would have gone again. This was our first place on the island and quite possibly our favorite!
