  • If you get here early enough on a hot summer day ( between 9-11 a.m. ) there will likely be a parking spot left for your vehicle. It is a bit of a walk to access the beaches so pack as light as possib...  more »

  • Had a real great outing with Friends and Family, even tried out a little fishing..Beautiful sites and a great spot to go swimming and a picnic..Great trails to walk around on and being out in the fresh air up in the mountains is great exercise also..Yup
  • Swimmers Heaven! Wild geese frequent the location so step carefully. Sand and grass surround the lake. Concession and bathrooms on site. Even on the busiest days the lake is large enough to never feel too busy. Parking is ample but will fill up early on hot days. Arriving after noon means a looooong walk from the main road so great there early! Picnic tables available but get taken quickly. Nice easy walk around the lake. Pets on leash on trails only, not at beach.
  • A beautiful place. Clean beach and cold, clear water. Great place for a family outing and picnic. Benches and tables available for BBQ. Wahsrooms are clean and accessible to everyone. Park Rangers always patrolling the beach area and the trails. The scenery is breathtaking, so much greenery and forest. Ample parking spots available. Ensure you take time to visit this place, it is an amazing experience to rest and relax away from the city.
  • Secluded stretch of paradise within the city limits. Feels like you're somewhere far off, surrounded by nature. Clear water and a spectacular view. Great place for anyone looking to have a beach day. Surrounding hiking trails are a nice touch.
  • THIS BEACH IS ONE OF THE BEST IN METRO VANCOUVER. LOVELY LAKE AND A NICE BEACH.
