  • My friend and I had done our PALs but never shot before. A weekend outing to DVC was supposed to fix that. It's a happening place. We had no reservations and had to wait in line for about 15 minutes. ...  more »
  • This place is almost always lined up our the door, and for good reason. If you've never shot a firearm before, this is a decent place to try it out before you make the investment in a PAL/RPAL course....  more »
  • Visited DVC range as a birthday gift. Thank you, thank you! The staff were super professional. From signing the waiver, to selecting targets and firearms. Prepared us with important safety information...  more »

  • The good: This range has a respectable selection of rental firearms. Anything between smaller caliber Glocks and SIGs, to .50 desert eagles and .223 rifles. There are 2 separate ranges to pick from, the longest being 17 yards. There are also electric pulley target holders you can send down range, making setting up targets much easier. The indoor ranges are all heated and ventilated, and come outfitted with respectable degrees of sound insulation. The bad: On weekends it seems to get very busy. Don't be surprised at looking at a 45 minute wait to get into the range. The prices are nothing to write home about. Unless you're just trying the sport, 'renting' guns at a range, in my view, is only to find out which one you like best on your path to buying one. An example in this case is ammo. The prices to use range guns are based on the caliber. In a gun store, you can buy a box of 50 9mm bullets for $16. Here, they charge you $37 for the same ammo. You're also not allowed to bring your own ammunition unless you bring your own guns as well. The exception to that is, if you own your own .223-chambered rifle, you still must buy the range's ammo--unless you buy a membership of course. Certain staff members could stand to take themselves less seriously. Most of them are pretty easy going, but a couple that I won't name have some serious ego issues and need to tone it down a notch. And finally, staff here need to brush up on their grasp of current gun laws. Not being well versed at the time, I took their word that I absolutely needed to buy from them an "ATT Membership," being an owner of a restricted firearm. According to them, owning a restricted gun without some form of range membership is illegal, and I was told I needed to have one. This is simply not the case. Simply owning one does not obligate the gun owner to continually hold an active membership. Not knowing this at the time, I took them at their word and wasted money on an ATT membership. Whether through their own ignorance or the law, or by intentionally misleading me, who's to really say. But I ended up wasting money based on what they assured me was the law, and that's not cool in my books.
  • I come here at least twice a month. Always good times ! Great place to take a date especially on fridays....fyi girls admission is free on fridays
  • The facilities are good and the variety of guns make it something for everyone. I had a great time here with friends and most of the staff are really helpful. One lady serving me left a sour taste in my mouth as here attitude was not the most friendly. Other then that, highly recommend checking it out.
  • My buddy and I got together one day for lunch and said "What should we do today?" And of course, being 19 year old boys, shooting was the first option. Both him and myself had been shooting before, and we'd both been to DVC before. When we arrived, the storefront was packed and the wait was a little lengthy, but once inside we were both surprised and extremely giddy seeing not only the impressive selection of handguns and shotguns like the last time; but also AR-15s, Mini-14's, SKS and even an AK! We picked out our four or five guns and met our RSO, who had seemingly had no issues letting us do our thing so he could focus on the less experienced pair of shooters in our slot with us. He gladly engaged us in conversation about our rifles and pistols, and even seemed excited himself when my friend decided to one hand the .500 Magnum! The RSO made us feel extremely comfortable, definitely not failing on customer service. After blowing through over 150 rounds of ammo, my buddy and I decided that for the sake of our wallets we'd call it quits for the day. Ammo isn't too much more expensive than it would be in store for most types of ammo, and they had no problem with us switching out our guns for others when we wanted. Though the two of us will be getting out PALs soon, we will absolutely be returning! Thanks DVC for the fun and pleasant time!
  • Lots of fun, from beginners to PAL holders. Great hands on instructors who are safe and patient with beginners. Enjoyed it everytime
