  • We are going for a week of fishing in Lake Arthur, cottages are new this year, there should be a home to Walker Lake 27 km, it registers then must roll for about 2 hours on a gravel road, about 100km it is quite difficult to drive faster than 50 km/hour, road especially made for the transport of wood , but the road is still passable with any kind of vehicles. Must find the guardian once on the spot, then we head toward our chalet, all lit by solar system, two canisters of gas powered stoves and refrigerators, has noted there is no outlet to recharge devices so if you want to reload a device should carry you a battery that stores energy. The cottages are clean and new, two bedrooms one with double bed the other two single beds, two beautiful Chair type adirondak are on the porch facing the Lake, it has no access to the Lake directly to rowboats should take are vehicles and return to great Lake Arthur, barely two minutes by car on little also fishing on other lakes that abounds in the sector. I you Council cottage No. 4 the only one with a small beach which has direct access to the water, so you can leave a fishing directly for your cabin without returning to the equipped gardien.chalet stove a wood, fridge, stove, sink, bathroom with shower, need to bring bedding, tet of pillow, sleeping bag. Also bring large 20 liter water because water is undrinkable in more on make a good grocery store front input no way out if we forget something over 3 hours drive on gravel road, a grocery store is just on the boulevard that must borrow for input on road reserve. Wonderful site and quiet place to win, has outside table a pique - nique with air of fire, we had right to the visit of small red squirrel, and a hare that ate our fruits. Bring much hot clothing the temperature is changing due to the proximity of mountains and lakes. Fishing in Lake Arthur is very good for trout, beautiful trout cota easy a catch negligible fishing pressure, hiking trail available but more near Walker Lake if you want to make the trail your best book at Walker Lake.
