  • I went to the Macaulay Mountain Conservation area. I didn't particular care for the location. The bird houses were replicas of areas in and around the county. It was neat but not something I would ret...  read more »
  • The Bird Houses are "Out of this World". The work that has been put in them is awesome. Just past the Bird House park there is a GREAT walking trail up the Mountain. A must to do if you are up to it! 
  • We drove past the park with no time to stop and returned to visit the next day because we were intrigued. Tge collection of unique bird houses is worth the visit to the conversation area. 
  • Great place all year round for hiking or snow-shoeing. If you are mountain bike crazy there are some great routes to explore. never been crowded at this conservation area. But just an FYI - the hill is steep and we've seen more than one mountain bike left crushed at the side of the path - to date no bodies.
