Stroll through Lake on the Mountain, a provincial park with a mysterious lake that has no apparent source of water. Roam the 104 hectare (256 acre) grounds and see the freshwater lake that drains into the Bay of Quinte. Have a picnic by the scenic lake viewpoint, 62 m (203 ft) above the bay, or simply relax and take in the natural surroundings. Camping is not allowed at this day-use only park, but you can try angler fishing at the lake. Onsite amenities include picnic tables and restrooms.   • We had a delightful evening here in August. The food was delicious and the location, between two lakes , was magical.

  • It is pretty cool that there is a big lake on the top of a mountain. Definitely a cool spot to check out on the way to the Glenora ferry.
