  • Had a great time there...awesome beers, something for everyone, went with my parents, wife, and 2 year old and we all had a blast. Service was great. Highly recommend, especially on a Thursday for the...  more »
  • We stopped in on a whim and had fun. You can taste the great local brews for only a dollar for 4, and the team behind the bar knows what they are doing. I recommend the ale made with maple.  more »
  • We stopped here briefly but did not stay to try the beer. We were not greeted on arrival. The tasting room is very small and seems an afterthought stuffed into a small space surrounded by merchandise....  more »

  • The beer was great! Don't forget to stop at Big Mike's for the BBQ (bring cash)
  • The renovation s have increased their sales area and now there is a patio where you can get some small plates and enjoy a good beer. They brew everything on site, with a strong year round selection and many seasonal brews as well.
  • After having a very pleasant visit while in PEC last fall, we decided to bring some friends to Barley Days. I read on here that ownership might have changed in the time since -- which would explain a lot. The staff member whom "greeted" us seemed annoyed when we walked in the door... apparently they were closing in 10 minutes -- we had traveled out of our way after checking the website which indicated they would be open for another hour. The employee couldn't care less. We offered to send a comment in ourselves after he clearly wasn't concerned about the mistake but were told not to bother since "no one will see it". We managed to down a couple samples before we were rushed out the door. Unfortunately, the experience we had flies in the face of the friendly, welcoming reception we've become accustom to on our trips to the County. We will definitely not be returning.
  • Good beer and a nice place to stop. The staff was passionate about their craft. There really isn't a place to sit down inside but the patio is nice.
  • The Cherry Porter and the Wind and Sail are fairly tasty. A recent change in ownership has led to a significant increase in price. Several of their offerings are now only sold by the bottle. On the one hand, I like supporting local craft beer and Barley Days was the first major offering of it in the county. On the other hand I don't enjoy their products enough to go out of my way for it.
