  • This is a lovely, lovely pristine area for families and friends to have picnics, swim, play volleyball, have campfires in firepits provided on the beach or just stroll.
  • Have spent countless hours at this beach and park. Watched the transformation for a neighbourhood beach with lots of houses across from the beach to much larger, more developed park with a ton of amen...  more »
  • It has everything. Boat launches, lots of beach, park area, trees and even a waterpark and ball fields. Always a summer favourite!

  • Best lake in the area. Always a nice breeze blowing in the summer. Sand is of good quality on the beach and there are plenty of trees to lend shade and snooze under on a hot summer day. Not the cleanest of change rooms and snack shop doesn't have very much in the way of healthy items. Tennis courts, basketball courts, outdoor theatre, body weight exercise machines and children's playground all make it a great place to relax away the day. Great place
  • Nice park. Beautiful beach, clean washrooms. Make sure your dog is on a leash as there is enforcement.
  • Skaha Lake Park is one of Canada's best rock climbing destinations. There are over 1000 climbing routes which range from 5.6 to 5.13. The park is well marked with great trails and strategically located washrooms. Even if you aren't a climber there are many trails to explore. Be sure to bring water during the hot summer days.
  • Our favourite beach in Penticton. Bigger and a little less crowded than the Oakanogan Lake beach.
  • Very nice beach, splash pads for the kids, lots of playgrounds nearby. Water was warm and shallow enough for the kids to wade out fairly far. For a Saturday, there was a lot of room.
