The falls has two sections. Upper and lower. I went to the lower one. It was a 2 min walk down to the falls. Its beautiful!

Easy hiking trails with nice views, and about 100 well-maintained campsites. We stayed here while visiting the big trees at Cathedral Grove, and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a spot to camp not far from there.

Classic BC parks. Beautiful area and falls. Good walking paths around with numerous bridges. Lack of funding shows in spots.

Nice campsites. Well-maintained and reasonably private spots. Gorgeous scenery and hiking trails as well as some good Geocaches

Where to stay in Parksville

Most accommodations in the town center look over the Strait of Georgia. Here, along Island Highway, you'll find primarily chain hotels, resorts, and motels offering clean and comfortable lodgings within walking distance of the town's amenities. If you want to enjoy the region's pristine nature, you can find more interesting accommodations just east down the highway, around the border of Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park. Beach resorts with swimming pools, quaint holiday cottages, and secluded forest retreats provide easy access to both the beach and the national park.
