Shopping Mall Shopping
The recently redeveloped Rideau Centre covers all of your shopping needs under one roof. Originally opened in 1983, the mall, which sees over 20 million visitors annually, stretches over three floors and contains around 170 stores. A revitalization project, which commenced in 2013, has seen the addition of a three-level underground parking garage and a large dining hall, which ranges from fine dining to more casual fare. Our Ottawa travel itinerary planner makes visiting Rideau Centre and other Ottawa attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Very clean, safe and an abundance of high end clothing, technology, jewelry and food shops and boutiques. Three levels of excitement, as there is something for everyone.  more »

  • Food court had a great layout and selection. The maps inside could be a little more helpful. It can show you a store that you can't see. It might need to be updated.
  • Amazing in what they have done with the upgrades to this place. I am colored me impressed. I have to admit while this place was my go to place as a teenager, what they have done to it now is just amazing.
  • Nice and big mall with lots of stores and restaurants. Generally quite clean and well maintained. Because they are a tourist mall they have hours many other malls don't. I occasionally visit, and find that locating a store I want can be difficult at best. You can text a number and they'll reply back with store location, usually floor and a store or two around it. Not as helpful if you don't know where any stores are, but it's an interesting idea that other friends like.
  • Best and busiest mall in the city! Stores serving most of what you desire! Food, clothes, gifts, books and much more. Good transit options to and from anywhere in the city of Ottawa
  • Nice place to shopping. They have some exclusive brands. It's even better that they open late in weekends.
