  • Wow located on the Rideau River, this is an absolutely beautiful spot to take the kids or entire family for a day out. Both the beach and river are lovely and so very clean. A lifeguard is not always ...  more »
  • One of the few pieces that can be compared to a beach. Obviously this weekend is besieged by tourists, but during the week you can relax without too much flutter. It is easy to reach by bus and get off at Riverside 87/ridgewood. The beach is well serviced with public restrooms, drinking fountains, free BBQ, bar and positions controls lifeguards up at 7:00 pm The beach is completely free and you can also use the views of neighboring lawns. Overall positive judgment.

  • Beautiful beach, restaurant and bar on site. Access to toilets and a place to change. There are beach volleyball fields, you can rent water equipment, etc. There is a bicycle nearby, a very large park with structures for young children. The Pirates adventure activity nearby also. The sand is fine. There is paid parking. This is the place for dragon boat racing.

  • We enjoyed playing on the new Giver 150 playground, running and playing on the huge hill and playing on the playground at the beach and fin ally stopping for snack. The park was clean and there was lots of space for a picnic. They need more parking though.
  • Awesome beach and nice lifeguards. You can rent paddle boards and canoes! A great place for the whole family. After a swim you can use some public barbecues too to grill up a feast with a magnificent view!
  • Amazing place to go to with family and friends during the course of the summer season. Offers grassy and sandy areas, a lot of benches are scattered all over, beautiful scenery. For children, there is a playground.
  • Mooney's Bay is: -Family friendly: Canada's largest playground is here, there are restrooms, you can buy food -You can spend all day here because there are various things to do: swim in the beach, eat at the cafe, roll down a huge hill, - It feels like you're not in the city, but you are; you can even bus it there -Pirate ship sail is here
  • Fantastic new park. Always a good time with the kids. Bring a picnic and you will be wondering where the day went.
