  • I spent 3 hrs. being in awe following the tiny model train tarcks and the amazing work they have done in details and humour. great value for the buck too. Hard to find tho.
  • Totally unexpected to see something this elaborate in a small tucked away town like Osoyoos. We thought this was an amazing setup and were pretty impressed. Highly recommend going if you are into this...  read more »
  • We have been visiting the Desert Model Railroad in Osoyoos for many years, starting when our children were very small - they are now 16 and 21 and STILL always want to visit when we are in Osoyoos. Wh...  read more »
  • This is a small, but very well constructed model train museum. Admission fee is $8 at the time of posting this. It will take about 30-45 minutes to go through the whole museum, maybe even more if you are looking at every single detail. You also get the opportunity to talk to the controller, who makes sure that all the models/trains are working properly, and ask him questions. If you like trains, I would recommend this to anyone who is passing by.
  • A truly unique and interesting place to spend a few hours, whether you are a train enthusiast or not. The work that has gone into creating all these displays is nothing short of incredible! So realistic, with each scene (and there are many!) displaying different activities, with at least 40 trains running through it all. Bridges, tunnels, houses, factories, playgrounds, an airport, snow-covered mountain (complete with miniature skiers and a ski lift!), a forest fire, mini "accidents" on adjacent roads, -- all so very tiny yet "real". So awe-inspiring to realize that this huge model railroad display was imagined, then created! A must-see while in the Osoyoos area.
  • WOW, this place is a real gem! We took the family from Holland here as we figured the little ones would enjoy it, but the adults had as much fun as the kids! So much detail and care put in to this work of art, you could look for hours and still see new things you missed the first time around. This is a must see attraction when passing though Osoyoos
  • A well maintained place with lots of interesting exhibitions. Worth visiting.
  • Perfect for all ages and engaging enough for younger kids. The owners were lovely and I would recomend this to anyone and everyone.
