  • Gorgeous hiking, any distance you want. Lovely hike "coming Round the Mountain" about 2 hrs. Down to Cosens Bay. Lovely sandy beach, fabulous swim, to cool down. no one around. Benches on top to enjoy...  read more »
  • We rented kayaks for our 1st time kayaking. This is a good lake to choose because it is usually quite calm and the aquamarine colour makes it very scenic. We also were entertained by a paddle boarding...  read more »
  • Reviewing this as a cyclist; Really good variety of trails, anywhere from very mellow and easily rideable on a CX bike, up to near DH bike requirements. I do wish trailheads were better marked and there was some need for maintenance on some of the steeper sections. Overall a good spot to ride.
  • Incredible views. Worth the hike to go up Cougar Canyon at the south end of the park. For a shorter hike, Rattlesnake Point offers an incredible view over the lake.
  • A very beautiful Provincial Park with some of the last natural grasslands habitat preserved for future generations to enjoy. The park offers hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, beautiful views of Kalamalka Lake, and a short hike into Cosens Bay, and Jade and Juniper Bays with nice little swimming beaches. Presently there is a controversy about the Ministry of Transportation removing a 20 meter Right of Way centred on the present 'Cosens Bay' gravel road. The spectre of a possible future Utilities Corridor and paved Highway bisecting the park, has nature lovers up in arms. Nearly 3,000 people have signed a petition opposing the Ministry's plans.
  • Great park to take the whole family
  • Beautiful Lake lots of trails for a hike or bike ride
