There isn't a great choice of shops or food. Worth driving further to Burlington or Sherway or Square One.
It's a decent mall with some nice stores, like H&M and Purdy's chocolates. I always come here to get my hair cut. I always get a gyro from the Greek place in the food court! Their gyros are really goo... read more »
I wish I could give this place zero stars. Hearing many negative things about the mall being overpriced and run down and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt as I found out about a sale there. Came into the mall the first thing I realised were some VERY tacky stores that sold cheap quality, generic clothing for HIGH prices. One of us had a gift card for the mall of which we've never spent money from the gift card before. At the register, we found out ONE THIRD of the card's value was taken off from the card. Frustrated as the card was a gift, we went and asked the customer service what happened and they told use a FEE of $2.50 was taken off the card EVERY MONTH if NOT used in 16 months!! Right below that "regulation" it says "fees do not expire" which just felt deceitful. How is it that we paid for the card and our MONEY is being taken and used to cover their "maintenance" fees instead of what it SHOULD be used: a happy trip to the mall. The customer service individual wasn't even surprised by our loss. They told us to contact the supervisor, I asked for the supervisor/manager; and was told that they WERE NOT AROUND! I understand if it's "after office hours" but based on the reaction I got, it just seemed unsurprised and like this ISN'T the first time someone has complained about this; or a similar situation like ours occurred. This was not the only issue. The sales were not great, not worth the price. We went to two departments both of which advertised sales. When we went to check the items out they "were full priced" but the items were placed directly in the SALES rack and INCLUDED in the sizes and brands that were listed for sale! Which was very confusing: was it a lack of organisation? We made sure to check these items WERE included in the sale and in two different departments? Can't just deem this as a coincidence. We went to ANOTHER clothing store the same style of shirts were "on sale" however the only difference was the colour: blue and pink. AND? ONLY the pink one was on sale and the blue one? Regular price. How does that work? Another major problem is that the ONLY way to get downstairs during the reno was through a SMALL staircase and a BUSY elevator. Had to wait 8 minutes to get on because a LARGE amount of people got on the elevator and it would close and go back down and up and the same thing would happen. They SHOULD have at least renovated ONE escalator at a time. At least that would somewhat control the flow of traffic; but both were taken down completely causing SUCH A HASSLE to navigate through the mall. So disappointed. This mall used to be DECENT at least 10 years ago. Now it's just a massive train wreck. I'm sorry that I have to even WRITE all of this. It's sad to see a decent mall slowly go down hill. I know I will NEVER be returning to this mall. It was a deceiving and horrible experience, as I really did attempt to give this mall another chance what a huge disappointment.
Going through its second renovation in the last decade, and more management/ownership changes than I can count, I don't recommend shopping here unless you want overpriced women's attire. Recently became home to the first Pusateri's outside Toronto, I haven't checked it out yet but if it's anything like the one at Sherway Gardens, it won't live up to the hype. Oliver and Bonaccini's is one of the only worthwhile stops here.
One Modern Couple
Increasing it's selection of stores and in-mall dining options and moving towards exclusively high-end brands. Loss of the intimate community feel but it looks great and modern. This mall is great if you are looking for more exclusive stores but probably not as much for general shopping. Will be interesting to see the finished product of all the renovations and additions
Ok mall that seems to always be under construction. The food court is good and the flag ship stores will what you want. The cart venders are a let down for the most part.
This is an okay mall. It is not too big which is good. It's so easy to find stores. I really like the big food court, lots to choose from. It will be nice if they are going to add more stores for the average age group.
