Cozy nice park for family or friends to have a party with some fun activities & BBQ. Short to medium relaxing hiking or biking trails along Sixteen Mile Creek. Shelters to hide from a little shower.  more »

I've lived in Oakville for 12 years and this is one of my favourite places in the town. Perfect picnic spot!

Fantastic hiking trail loop that is well groomed with some large flights of stairs and inclines. The loop takes about 1-1/2 hours at a moderate pace.

This is a great park for family outings and summer fun! Runners, Cyclists, and Walkers will enjoy the area including the park as it is connected to the Oakville Heritage Trail system on both sides of Sixteen Mile Creek and by Lions Valley Park Road for cars. The Town of Oakville has been improving this park since the Dundas St Bridge expansion has been completed by adding covered picnic areas, extra large garbage and recycling bins with a washroom facility expected sometime in the future (currently 2 port-o-lets are next to the parking lot May to October). As the Coach of Lions Valley Athletics I take my athletes there for a beautiful yet challenging run!

It is a great place to spend time taking walks, BBQ, enjoy nature just around the corner from the rustle bustle of the busy life and traffic.
