  • The discovery of the summer 2016! The trail of whispers is the perfect place to find a point of swimming or pitch its tent. The sector trails great Valley, the Summit and the pine forest are simply magical in autumn. For the pine forest, the climb is worth its mention intermediate... But the views down the Valley is breathtaking.

  • We entered by great Valley. We took the trail to the Summit. A track that I consider intermediate with a vertical drop of 300 meter still. Quietly, with many stop, the ride took us 3 hours. I saw a couple with two young children who didn't seem tired. Of course, the view is great upstairs, but as this is not very high. The view is not great. For a beautiful Sunday, I did find the busy site.

  • I went several times to the Ouareau forest for expeditions. There are beautiful places: trails, rivers, lakes, etc. It is not well known and not very expensive. This summer I tried the foothills, the new camping area. The place is quite marked and land are of varying magnitude. Better check before you choose, because there are really better than other spots. On the other hand, what about the staff! PHEW! Already on the phone, the 3 times I called, I came across people with an incredible look silly. Then on the spot: the first day, a lady came send me solid shit because I had left my car near my site. Without stand, in forensics on our site, not saying hello and talking to me without any politeness; again basically what she told me: "Stu to towed the tank?" Stu wrote No Parking here? Ben kosse do you the leash here? "." Then in the evening, it is the turn of a guard to get random at 11: 00 on our site, the light flash in front for we talk about a story of a guy who walks on the sites... Something incomprehensible. Then he goes. Surreal! So, for what is the sector of the foothills, I metterais 1 * but for the Park in general, it would be rather 4.5* here

  • I know this place from many XC ski outings when groomed trails make it a cinch to get around but summer wayfinding is ghastly, with multiple dead ends, numerous unmarked forks, and a general disregard for even minimal signage. It is downright amazing how deep the neglect goes, with nary a care for the outsider. Got thoroughly lost both times, only escaped the deep woods thanks to GPS tracking on Backcountry Navigator.
  • The best camping around montreal to really see Quebec's beauty. Amazing trails the suspended bridge is a must see! Sean and Pat are awesome park rangers really cool guys, they'll make sure you got enough fire wood. Every time we go we have the best time this place is just getting better and better! Thanks for everything guys!
  • amazing place, quiet , nice people big area to play outside and take some.sun, just enjoy!! no expensive 50$ for 2 night!
  • Best camping place in Quebec hands down. I go every year and never have a problem. Staff is always there to help and the price is just right.
  • Nice place, some parts of the trail very bushy, a few times I thought I might have gone off trail but it was not the case. I didn't see another person for over 4 hours, which is nice if you like the solitude.
