  • Such a beautiful park! Waterfalls and rapids are picturesque and the greenery is captivating. The foot bridge is a bit scary because it sways with all the people traffic, but still seemed quite safe. The gift shop was closed because of the holidays, but I managed to take a little peek through the windows, and it seemed really nice.
  • We simply loved this canyon! The suspended bridge is amazing, the forest is so beautiful it’s like being in a ancient wizard forest! Anyway if you love beautiful trees, mosses and ferns you’ll be very happy! We visited during the winter and the place was still amazing and certainly much more quiet than in the summer time so no regret here!
  • Superb location for a nature walk/bush walk or hike/nature jog. Beautiful suspension bridge overlooking a scenic gorge. The paths are well maintained, but there are no lights to guide the path when the light fades on Winter days. Be sure to check out groovy convenience store / coffee shop after the walk.
  • It was awesome! There was a long bridge that went from one canyon to another. The river is right beneath your feet! I hope I can go there again. It really is an awesome place to relax, it even has some parks in it!
  • The place is free, but it is still such a marvelous one. A great please to get into the nature and enjoy. Visits are not guided, you have to walk quite a lot. But if you are an explorer, the place is wonderful.

Where to stay in North Vancouver

Often overshadowed by its larger and more famous southern neighbor, North Vancouver offers relatively little by way of accommodations. Your best bet is to look towards the shore, along Esplanade Avenue and the streets directly behind, where you'll find a few hotels offering views over the pier. Stay west of the center, along Capilano Road, for easy access to the Capilano River and surrounding parks. You can also consider staying in Vancouver proper and take public transport across the harbor.
