  • Is the large park, picnic tables, playground equipment, play on the beach (Bay.). Van near the Lake Park has quite a large Seaside Park is about here. Enjoy beautiful views mean is recommended because it is not near. Pier fall from a spring on the boat, except crab in the crab cage suggest is possible. Anyone, and definitely very excited children. People of Asian descent are most is quite popular. Note that, after Pier had passed the ship rocking quite sometimes and can't stand. Take pass-sized crabs was sometimes goes crab crab basket is not so fun. Starfish also. Crab cage at Canadian Tire sells at around $ 15. Bait is chicken (bone, along the small meat is good, okay), and neck meat is the best. Extra chicken crab off the food network will have food (one basket, about 1 kg) to prepare. Bring together plastic code just for the food network is turned off, so use "bands". Wherever the crab basket throwing away is stuffed with food a lot heavier. And threw the crab cage waiting for about 10 minutes, raise the Chair there is easy. Fishing license (there is a special measure of crab for selling and convenient) to measure the size of the crab (on the Web, one day is $ 5) and don't forget to. Don't get off the job when the crab cage, the sunrise from one hour after sunset or one hour before the rule is. People have been fishing a little, but not bridge. It is still a crab cage. Summer many a BBQ and drink become vast parking early in the morning.

  • Always popular with locals this lovely beach front park is an ideal escape away from the bright lights and city life.  more »
  • Away from busy city noise and able to listen sounds of ocean and birds here. Quiet area. Nice picnic place for family and friends. Good hiking too. Enough parking spaces too.  more »

  • the ancestral name for this land is Whey-Ah-Whichen which means ‘faces the wind’. As North Vancouver District’s largest seaside park, Cates Park offers 6 km of waterfront trails that wind past sandy beaches and through a mixed forest of Douglas-fir and bigleaf maple. Viewpoints of tranquil Indian Arm to the north and busy Burrard Inlet to the south. tennis courts, trails, playgrounds, beaches, picnic shelter, a concession, and a display of native totems and a canoe offer year-round recreation with a cultural flavour.
  • A great park by the ocean. A great spot for a picnic. A well maintained play ground for kids.
  • A beautiful spot with lots of places to visit, spend time at and play in. Well used but never crowded. One of our favorite parks in Vancouver!
  • For the kids there is a ton of space for soccer/frisbee/etc along with a playground. When it's hot we've went down to the beach and had a swim. The view of the Bay isn't bad either.
  • Amazing view. Live music. Nice neighbourhood vibe
