Trip Planner:   Canada  /  Ontario  /  Niagara Falls  /  Skylon Tower

Skylon Tower, Niagara Falls

A meal with a view awaits at Skylon Tower, featuring an observation deck and a revolving restaurant overlooking Niagara Falls. Located on the Canadian side of the falls, the 160 m (520 ft) tower features three external elevators that can whisk you to the top in just under a minute. The views from the outdoor and indoor decks alone merit a visit, though most tourists also choose to round-off their experience with a hearty meal at the onsite restaurant. The base of the tower contains several gift shops and an amusement arcade, making this attraction a good shopping/entertainment spot for families with kids. • Better to go when the Sun are too at night before bedtime. As the restaurant revolves. A view in the day and more dinner ahead it is beautiful with ES e light view of the falls.

  • Price worth the experience. At the beginning they took a picture of you and your family that you can get at the end. They are fun and there aren’t expensive. This place gives the opportunity to enjoy ...  more »
  • Not sure this is worth the expense, but you do get a birdseye view of the falls. Take a walk to view up close afterwards! *Note: TripAdvisor has a major photo error and acknowledged that they do not k...  more »

  • Entrance fee is cheaper compared to other famous towers in the world. Their buffet is not too bad. Recommended. Very unlike South Korea where merchants nearby the tourist attraction trying to rip you off with every single penny you have. Price of food, souvenirs, entrance was pretty similar to other parts of the country. Very impressed.
  • Excellent view, nice ambiance. Food isn't special, space is very cramped, hard to maneuver around and bathrooms are awkward to get to; you have to climb stairs to get to them. There is a limited entree selection and the taste isn't top notch, just decent. But you're really paying for the view and experience. Niagara fireworks at 10pm make it even better so try to go in the evening for the lights and firework display . If this review helped you, please mark as helpful! It let's me know what type of information people are looking for. Thanks!
  • Some great views from the top... fair price to go up. They try to sell you pics but whatever.. . It's all good. Enjoy
  • Just celebrated our anniversary at the Skylon Tower's revolving restaurant this past weekend. We took an early dinner reservation where there is a 3 course fixed price menu at a fair price. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly. When we got our steaks, we were shocked at how big they were, and they were cooked as ordered. We also ordered mushrooms and fried onions on the side...they were big portions as well, except at $10 per item, I find it was a little over priced. The view was amazing (we were seated next to the window), and we were not rushed during our dining experience. We were there for over 2 hours and did 2 full revolutions. I highly recommend this restaurant for a unique dining experience, just don't expect a lot of space up there. It was a little tight, but even with a 6 month old baby in a booster seat, we did fine !! ENJOY
  • Ate lunch here and then dinner several hours later a couple miles away at a pizza hut. Wife and I agreed, the pizza hut meal was better in every aspect - except location. This dining area felt crammed, service was slow and the space was so noisy, we had to nearly shout to communicate. The bill also arrived sporting an unexpected extra charge. Won't be returning to this establishment but given the amount of customers they have whenever I've been near there, I'm sure they won't notice.

Where to stay in Niagara Falls

The city bordering Canada's most famous attraction offers a wide range of accommodations, with competition keeping prices surprisingly low. You'll pay a premium for views of the falls, with most of the prime real estate right by the star attraction controlled by major international hotel chains. Most sit along Niagara Parkway, which fronts the river. If you're looking for something nearby but still affordable, check the options along Victoria Avenue--you won't have a view of the falls, but you'll be just minutes from the spectacular attraction.
