Cross between the United States and Canada at Rainbow Bridge. The bridge, linking the two countries over the Niagara River gorge, offers spectacular views of the falls from a slightly higher perspective. If you view the bridge from the falls, it will really live up to its name--rainbows form in the mist created by the pounding water. Don't forget your passport if you plan to cross from one country to the other. Rainbow Bridge reviews

The first thing border officers need to understand is that give respect and take respect. They are getting paid from the taxes paid by the common people. Every time I pass the US border I wonder do... more »

The bridge joins the American and the Canadians , the border is across on the American side . So the span of the bridge is often missed I think as we tourists concentrate on the Falls. more »

Still amazing. 4th time there, but never boring. We stayed c!ose to the Queensburg Bridge. Very smooth crossing the border. Much less traffic than Rainbow Bridge. There was a lot of road... more »

I loved the option to park on the American side and walk over. The view of the falls from the bridge were incredible. At the middle point there was a plaque notating the dual nation location. It was a bit breezy on the day we were there, but comfortable. It took about 30 minutes to get into Canada as there was only one person working. From what we’ve read & heard that is pretty normal. Going back over bridge to the American side you’ll need a $1 in either Canadian or American quarters. Getting back into the American side was really quick & they were very nice. If you enjoy walking this is a must experience.

One of the best cross boarder experiences. Wanted to avoid rush hour and construction. This was an alternative to Peace Bridge coming back to Canada from Erie PA. GREAT DIRECTIONS FROM GALLERIA Mall (side trip). Waited only a few minutes for the car in front of us at customs. Short, thorough and direct questions and we were on our way. A huge plus after two days of shopping!!

The bridge has a great view of the Niagara Falls! I'm sure there are a lot of positive reviews about crossing the bridge in terms of getting across to Canada or the USA, as long as you're carrying valid documents/identification/passport/Visa as per your country of origin. Other than that be aware of the timing you want to walk across cause there's usually a long line during the peak times and you don't wanna be out in the sun too long.

Its awesome to walk over a border to another country, legally off course, it's just a great feeling. Beats driving and saves you on parking fees...add to it , the wonderful view you get from the bridge of three falls, and the sensation you get looking down at the water, the fresh air, all make this an all around great experience. It was just me and junior on this trip, and we will both cherish this moment. Definitely recommend it.

What an awesome, amazing, beautiful place. The USA side, very nice, but to get the full view and experience the awesomeness of the falls, you have to visit the Canadian side. So many different places to see the falls, and then the fireworks. Just amazing. If you never been there, you will be shocked with the price of food and drinks. Almost $100.00 US for hamburger, french fries, 2 hotdogs. 1 beer, 2 glasses of wine, and 2 soft drinks. Again, for the views, just amazing
