Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls

(4.2/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Cross between the United States and Canada at Rainbow Bridge. The bridge, linking the two countries over the Niagara River gorge, offers spectacular views of the falls from a slightly higher perspective. If you view the bridge from the falls, it will really live up to its name--rainbows form in the mist created by the pounding water. Don't forget your passport if you plan to cross from one country to the other. Rainbow Bridge is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Niagara Falls Edition.

  • It's just a bridge but you can get a very nice view of the falls. There's pedestrian area if you want to walk and take photos.
  • We stayed on the Canadian side, used the bridge to cross over to U.S. side. Watch the busy times or you will be waiting in line for a while.
  • Well its a bridge. Not very special, BUT walking from Canada to the US was kind of fun. Also you get a nice view over both falls, the one on the US and on Canadian side

  • Crossing over the border both ways can be quite a wait,it may take between 1-2 hour wait both ways.Using Queenstown and Lewiston crossings will save time, a slightly longer drive, but worth it.
  • The wait times for vehicles at this US-Canada border crossing location is on average with the other area locations. This location has a pedestrian bridge as well. Walking across and seeing the view of the US and Canadian falls is great.
  • Such a lovely view. Walked to Canada and met some interesting people on the bridge. Cos-play participants are always interesting!
  • Very easy to walk through, only took us about 10 minutes to walk over the bridge and get through customs. The cars were backed up at a stand still.
  • Beautiful to see if ur walking, nearby shops, great place to start
