Nightmares Fear Factory, Niagara Falls

(3.7/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Stay calm and take it one step at a time to make it to the end of Nightmares Fear Factory, a haunted house attraction. Housed in what was allegedly once a coffin factory, where the owner was killed by a stack of coffins falling on him, the experience takes around 20 minutes from beginning to end. Actors in costume scare you as you walk through the house, jumping out and screaming, or speaking in creepy voices. You are given a safety word at the start, but if you use it and get taken out, you will be added to the "chicken list" and have to leave down the "chicken line," a pathway of public humiliation. Children under 6, pregnant women, wheelchair users, and those with a heart condition cannot enter the haunted house. • Everything just black with cheap tricks of loud noises and people grabbing you. No eerie scenes, no scary music, just terrible. Cannot see why it has a 4 out of 5 so far.  more »
  • I took my son here and he loved it. They have plenty of scary attractions that aren't too cheesy. It reminded me of old time haunted mansions.  more »
  • This place is hyped a bit too much. It is advertised as the scariest place at the Falls, if that's the case, stay away from all of 'em. I laughed most of the way through, we even bought the soveniour ...  more »

  • Had not been here since I was 5. It was scary (not as bad as when I was 5) reasonably priced. About 13 dollars a person. Walking distance from the falls! If you are going to one this one is fun
  • The experience was worth the money. I went in there few months ago with my buddies from Newfoundland, we had a great time, will definitely visit again. I don't know why some people are complaining that its too expensive, I mean fear factory set-up is more than satisfactory from a price point of view and service was fine with me. The overall experience was well worth my money, no complains at all.
  • I went years ago now but I still can't wait to go back! It's pitch black. So much so that you cannot see your hand in front of your face! Line up the lights and try not to pee yourself. Absolutely the best haunted anything I've ever been to!
  • This is one of the best scary houses I've been inside of in my entire 24 years of life! And I only consider 3 houses freaky out of so many around the world!! I recommend it to everyone! MY FIANC√ČE AND I ARE SURVIVORS! Best place to visit In Niagara Falls area :)
  • My second time in Niagara and the first thing I want to do is nightmares fear factory ,the best haunt I've been to,very scary and well worth the money. A little different each time you go this time they touch you so that adds to the scares I wasn't expecting it. Any one who likes haunts gotta get to niagara and go to nightmares if you dare.
