Floral Clock, Niagara Falls

3.4
Pay a quick visit to Floral Clock, a landmark of Niagara Falls. Built in 1950, the floral clock is one of the largest in the world, spanning 12 m (40 ft) in diameter. The clock’s floral face changes twice yearly and tells the time with precision. You can admire the clock free of charge. Observe the intricate floral designs made with different flowers each season, and hear a chime emanate from its tower every 15 minutes. • Lovely monument for veterans. Clock hands made from crutch design. Colourful hands mark the hours. Simple but nice as part of a drive tour.  more »
  • Classic place to take pictures, the watch is very well maintained and preserved, all in blossom, as well as the Park has a small shop that you can buy water or a snack. Make a quick stop.

  • Very nice park with restrooms and a small gift shop. The clock is beautiful with the flowers changed often. A long long walk from the town so taking the bus is pretty much a necessity for the time it would take. We took the bus to the clock and then walked back to the whirlpool and took the bus the rest of the way, a beautiful walk, but again, very long.
  • Saw this on a tour of Niagara Falls. Beautiful clock and was happy to hear the history behind it from our guide. If it wasn't for the tour we wouldn't have gone to see it and doubt we would have missed it either. Now that we know it's there I would recommend if you are heading to the butterfly conservatory to make a pit stop here, otherwise its personal preference if this is a 'must see'.
  • Flowers were beatiful...but the clock was being repaired...little gift shop was full of nice things but not enough workers for all the buses pulling in...only 1 person at the counter...
  • It's beautiful...but that's it. It's a giant clock with flowers inside of it. The scenery is pretty, great for picnics and there are bathroom facilities onsite. It's free entry, so that's a plus and it's nice for a picnic with the family. The novelty of the clock runs out quite quickly, if you're going, go before sunset. After sunset the road to the clock is without any streetlight and the car park, and the pathway to the clock are without any lights. You'll be in complete darkness. There's also no security presence in the evening, so I would not advise going after sunset, the novelty of the clock wears off quickly and if it's too dark, you won't be able to appreciate the scenery. It's not an essential visit and a bit of a ways away from the falls themselves and the hotels and attractions.
  • Beautiful attraction! Should be more well known. Chimes on this huge clock need some work, but the time was right and most people go to see the flowers and the fish pond surrounding the clock, rather than to set their watches. A must see!
