Bird Kingdom, Niagara Falls
(4.3/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
At Bird Kingdom, the biggest indoor free-flying aviary in the world, you can watch the exotic colorful birds feed and play in a multi-level rainforest. Start your journey by travelling back in time at a mysterious old museum, then head to the explorer's base camp and interact with flamboyant parrots, red herons, toucans, and other exotic birds. Take in the panoramic views of the gorge while the smallest of the winged creatures flap their wings above. The night jungle houses owls, bats, and various reptiles, including turtles and frogs. The kids will love digging for treasure at the children's archaeology section. Be sure to check out the original hand-carved teak wood structure from 1875, which is the only Javanese house in North America. The cafe offers snacks. • Fascinating, great staff, AMAZING exhibits! More than birds, they have lizards, tortoises, bats. Steven was the best guide! Very knowledgeable. Leave about 2 hours to see it all, and not rush! Will definitely be back. Zero complaints.
  • Wow amazing! Definitely going back! Jungle like atmosphere where hundreds of birds fly around! Great place for couples, kids, older people! Lots to see and do including a parrot feeding and a picture holding a Macau! Really neat experience!
  • Awesome place! There was more than just birds there, all sorts of animals, bats, skunks, snakes, turtles, the farther in you go the cooler it gets, I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before. Keep in mind there's coupons for 1 or 2$ off admission in all of the falls coupon books, keep an eye out :)
  • The place is well maintained and clean. The staff around the exhibits where wonderful. Recommended to ask ages and especially families with young kids. The variety was amazing and interaction was up close and fun.
