  • I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to visit this market as there’s not much here. But what is really worth coming to see are the beautiful spring planters along the Fraser River walkway. It is especial...  more »
  • This market is located along the boardwalk, it's worth a visit for a nice light snack or lunch. It also has a pub plus an Asian restaurant, which we may try sometime in the future.  more »
  • There's no market here, not like what one would think it is given it is meant to compete with Granville Island and Lonsdale Quay. There's just some casual restaurants and food outlets, a few gift stor...  more »

  • Years ago I thought the River market was a bit sketchy. Not anymore. I have been to several great events there like Pecha Kucha New West, Free yoga, and recently a kids swap meet. I always pick up some tea at the great wall tea company and I love the brisket poutine at re-up bbq.
  • They've really done a lot with this place in recent years. Though it isn't the market experience like Granville or North Van that I remember coming here as a kid, there are a lot of new businesses to keep the place alive. The coworking space is a great idea. My only fear is that some of these establishments point to an imminent influx of hipsters. I've heard rumblings that New West is the Brooklyn of Vancouver. Stay away! Old people and the old at heart are only welcome here.
  • This is a cool place to visit in New Westminster. Upstairs there is a circus school and some arcade games. There is a Donald's Market downstairs with lots of organic choices. Several other "ma and pa" shops exist throughout.
  • Cute and relaxing place to spend an afternoon at. It has a lot of character with some hearty shops. You can stroll along the promenade right outside the market. Good atmosphere. I hope there are more places like this in Vancouver.
  • Great place to walk along the river. Donalds market for organic and local produce. Pub an bouthouse for ur lunch or dinner or the food court. Take a course or just enjoy the puttalluo bridge lots to due fun for all ages n wheelchair n kid friendly
