  • Very insolent rude staff/life guard. I am not accusing everyone in this work facility, but one young women in particular that works in the pool area. She walks around and wears the typical yellow shirt, I am unsure of her job responsibilities, but can assume that she is more of supervisor. I am a very loyal customer to Canada Games Pool, always paying my monthly membership for years, and most of the time I don't use up my moneys worth, some months I only go a couple days depending on my schedule. Of course because of this incident, and the way she treated me felt utterly unfair and disrespectful! Unfortunately from now on, I will withdraw my loyalty towards CGP. I feel very embarrassed and awkward, more importantly very self-conscious about who I am now because of her. I will take my business elsewhere, where I feel respected of who I naturally am. Eileen Dailly seems like a more ideal community where I can comfortably enjoy my exercise activities. Sorry CGP, but one staff did it all. Bye bye..
  • Outdated pool, understaffed is also a reason why the slide is not working. Kids not allowed in hot tub like other public pools. Swim Schedule is crazy, I think they rate their swimming schedule as movie theater do the movies, G, PG, R 18+ Today I waited 1h to get in with my kids as they had something 40 year and older swim, and they didn't let us even 2 minutes before 40 swim is over so we were not even allowed in change rooms either, even kids pools were empty the whole time. 3 feet pool is very cold, i was wondering why my kids were shivering all the time when taking swim lessons and today i found why ITS SO COLD!!! will never take another lesson there...on top of that they opened both escape doors one of each sides of the 3 feet COLD pool and created so much draft , when asked why? well the people that work out up on the top are too hot so who cares about swimmers...so no air conditioning, work out GYM area smells on chlorine. They should look around the other cities and build a proper pool , gym, community center....CGP is outdated tame to change...until then FRED RANDALL POLL Here I Come !
  • Best gym around, been going here for a year now, they gave great free weights and being able to swim after a workout is a great addition. The prices is so reasonable too :)
  • I like the place simply the water quality. I have not yet encounter any rude staffs yet like some others. I terms of the swimming time schedule, each pool has their way n I respect that :) It this pool where I swim n get my six packs :)
  • I just moved to New Westminster. How confusing/complicated can the pool schedule be? Can you not look at other cities & see what they do? Really I am in my 30's & won't be able to go swim between 1 & 2:30? Other community centers offer at least a lane or 2 at all times. You cannot literally use the pool facility for more then 2hr time slots allowed & there throughout the week. Do you realize this is the only pool in new wes? No wonder their are so many successful gyms here. I highly recommend a 15min drive & go the Poirier center, they have a much better schedule & you don't have to worry about getting there & not being able to use the facility until this facility get their schedules sorted.
