  • The dam is in danger of collapsing and the road in is reduced to one lane automated traffic light controlled. Before 4 PM this time of year I had to find a quarter to call a posted number for service ...  more »
  • We enjoyed a sunny early fall hike through the many trails that the park offers. Great trail system that are wide and easy to follow map and markings on the actual trail. We enjoyed looking for frogs ...  more »
  • Beautiful, pleasant campsite with beautiful large lots close to the water. We enjoyed, and besides, it's "dog friendly"!

  • Great park for camping. Nice wooded area with electric hook-ups, large beach and golf. Not many water hook-ups.
  • Quiet, perfect for short & long walks. Pretty pond with little walkway over it. Worth a ride out, certainly.
  • Too much of a skunk problem. Don't enforce burning restrictions very well. Facilities are not what I expected.
  • In Mactaquac Provincial Park You’ll find a variety of outdoor activities throughout the year in this riverside playground. Discover the beauty of this 525-ha (1,300-acre) masterpiece along one of the many walking trails (one of which is wheelchair accessible), and enjoy interpretive walks through our pristine beaver pond nature reserve. Stay awhile at the Mactaquac Provincial Park campground with over 300 campsites to choose from. While you’re there, take a dip in the Park’s freshwater beaches or tee-up at the Mactaquac Golf Course. Bringing the whole family? Mactaquac’s recreation centre provides entertainment that’ll keep the kids busy. There’s always something to celebrate in the Park, so keep your eye out for upcoming family-friendly events below. The Clubhouse is also home to MOCO Kitchen, with beautiful views and casual fine dining featuring local ingredients, the restaurant is great for a quick bite out with friends, a nice meal with the family, or the perfect date night.
  • If you're a golfer this is the Provincial Park for you! Many good sized camp sites. Washrooms and showers always kept clean. Clean sites and well maintain grounds. Friendly staff. A little off the main road but worth the trip....drive across the dam to the Park
