For a spot of retail therapy in quirky, independent stores, visit Baker Street. An area that prides itself on its locally owned businesses selling local wares, this historic district provides plenty of opportunity to pick up a one-of-a-kind item or stop for coffee. The street's character-laden facade was restored in the 1980s as part of the city's project to maintain and preserve the district.
