  • Very calming park. Nice for a stroll, a run, a view, relaxation, even a tan! Well kept. Amazing view! Definitely a place I would hang out at all the time...a lot. :-)
  • The walkway follows along the ocean, with views of Newcastle Island, Protection Island, Galliano Island, & the Harbour all along. There's a well equipped playground area, that will keep all kids happy for hours; & the 1st 2hrs of parking, is free! There are some food wagons, & also a small 'flea market' of local vendors on Fridays. This Park is where The Blues Festival takes place, @ the tail end of Aug. Pay to get in - or sit outside the fence & listen, while watching the boats go by.
  • Beautiful spot to take the kids and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Nanaimo harbour. Summer weekends always seem to have things going on as well.
  • One of the best spots Nanaimo has to offer for a scenic wander. Watch the float planes, hop of a little boat to Newcastle or Protection Island, or just stroll the shops.
  • One of our favourite places to go for a walk in Nanaimo. Nice shops a short walk away, great playground, great place to people watch too.
  • Really enjoyed this park, lots of trails to walk and cute little shops. It's right next to the water with a little swimming spot as well. Will definitely be spending a lot of time here this summer.
