  • Located about 30 mins south of Nanaimo on the Duke Point peninsula, this half hour walk is a great way to see Nanaimo from the perspective of harbor boats. It's mostly paved walking trails, with some climbing, but easy enough for the whole family. Also a great place to bring your dog too.
  • Great place to spend an evening. Board walk was amazing.
  • Nice but busy during the summer
  • This one of the many provincial parks in the Nanaimo area.We went here for a summer picnic. No arm twisting required when I told my little friends we were going to explore some caves. Sand stone and lime stone with wind and strong waves make a mother natures sculpture. Our aboriginal people still live in the area as they did a millennium ago.
