Located about 30 mins south of Nanaimo on the Duke Point peninsula, this half hour walk is a great way to see Nanaimo from the perspective of harbor boats. It's mostly paved walking trails, with some climbing, but easy enough for the whole family. Also a great place to bring your dog too.
Great place to spend an evening. Board walk was amazing.
Nice but busy during the summer
This one of the many provincial parks in the Nanaimo area.We went here for a summer picnic. No arm twisting required when I told my little friends we were going to explore some caves. Sand stone and lime stone with wind and strong waves make a mother natures sculpture. Our aboriginal people still live in the area as they did a millennium ago.
