  • This short walk park is great! It feels like Monterey California with large rocks and windswept beaches. However it is also safe for accompanied kids.
  • Jack Point Park is a spectacular 5 km hiking look. Well worth the drive. The trail is well used by hikers and on-leash dog walkers. Most of it is easy, however, there are three sets of stairs (30-60 s...  more »
  • The first part of the park is not very attractive as the path goes by a noxious mill which can be noisy. After that though the scenery is pleasant and one walks through the trees and along the coast. ...  more »

  • This is my second review of the park. Many features here.If you can go to the tip of the peninsula,at the end a nice view at the point. Watch for the caves along the shore line ,hopefully you have a low tide and its more fun.
  • Great hiking trail with views of Nanaimo downtown across the water. Many interesting geological features along the trail.
  • Located about 30 mins south of Nanaimo on the Duke Point peninsula, this half hour walk is a great way to see Nanaimo from the perspective of harbor boats. It's mostly paved walking trails, with some climbing, but easy enough for the whole family. Also a great place to bring your dog too.
  • Great views. Nice walk.
  • Worth checking out, great for walking the dog.
