  • A great walk along the water. The walk is varying terrain and there are lots of sea life to look along the water.  more »
  • See the signs when driving in a car looking for Jack point, and didn't eat meat, the first time. Using the wait for ferries arriving and even ferry soon so far back, so, could walk. Picturesque views of the rocks jutting out into the town of Nanaimo views will become a trail winds from the asphalt, and the sea,. Points, points in long, narrow the width of the Park is the coastal views and environments change, so you can enjoy. Who has given the feeding wild animals along the way, I saw. I'd stop acts give feeding wild animals.

  • One of my favourite walks in the city nice water and city views. Sometimes it does smell at the beginning. The stretch from the parking lot to the first set of stairs roasts in the sun in the summer so be prepared.
  • Small park by the water enroute and very close to Duke point ferry terminal which connects Nanaimo to Mainland Vancouver. Very relaxing, parking is little tricky, have to go slow and find parking place. Few people park on shoulder of the road, but I don't suggest this due to safety. If you go an hour early to ferry time, you can visit this park to walk and relax.
  • Beautiful, interesting landscape along this trail. An easy walk with some stairs. Great views across the water. With all the trails in Nanaimo it would be thoughtful to have simple washroom facilities at the start of each trail.
  • Beautiful views of Nanaimo across the estuary. One does not remember when looking at Nanaimo that behind one is a sawmill, a ferry terminal and just up the road is a refuse dump.
  • Amazing hike with interesting rocks and trees to discover. Multiple great view points
