  • MWAR has probably the best teaching terrain for beginners young and old anywhere. The training area is next to the day lodge so parents can view their kids in class. You can walk to your lesson without having to ride any lifts. The magic carpet, 5 of them, are covered so they don't get slippery when it rains.
  • I've been to Mount Washington for snowboarding a few times. Conditions are variable, being that it is an island in the Pacific ocean! However, the runs and amount of snow are fantastic. The staff is very helpful, and willing to answer questions. There is something for everyone at Mount Washington. They have excellent areas for beginners, and the Outback is great for experiencing back country. I will definitely be coming back!
  • It's worth the drive. Paved road to the top. Great motorcycle road in summer.
  • This local ski resort has some of the best downhill terrain and cross - country available. Located on the west coast of Canada, Mount Washington usually gets a hefty 300-400 cm snow base during the peak of its winter season. The lodge has a large upstairs cafeteria, a liquor store, and bar & restaurant, plus full rental and lesson facilities too. Plus, the whole family can enjoy snow tubing!
  • Went there to ride the bike park the trail are pretty good not too bombed out tickets were cheaper than other places. Over all good place and experience.
