  • Fantastic estate home, well kept to the era. Grounds are lovely coming out onto Uniacke Lake, with many benches along the edge to enjoy the view. Behind it lies a great system of walking trails with several distances to choose from to accommodate various abilities and time allowances.
  • Beautiful! We walked the Drumlin field trail which runs down along the lake then swinging back through a wooded area and out into a beautiful field overlooking the estate. It's easy to imagine being there in the 1850s, very interesting place. This is the perfect place for a picnic!
  • Unbelievably well maintained (i.e. immaculate) and curated period estate museum. It's the large, opulent multi-generational home of the famous Uniacke family. Enjoy a delicious café and very large, scenic grounds.
  • Beautifully kept, walking trails, benches to sit by the lake, small café open during the season. Love it!
  • Beautiful place and setting. Close to the lake, it has trails which can still be accessed in the fall even if the museum is closed. The house is perfect for history lovers to learn of how life was during the time of Mr. Uniacke and about his family.
