  • What a fun day we had at Upper Canada Village. There is so much to see and do. The grandchildren loved it. They are 8 and 10. Tilton's Tonic show was funny and should not be missed. There were other p...  more »
  • a village (to scale) of 1860. Beautiful place, many employees in suits who really do live the village! Even with small children, we had a very nice day. It's a little bit unfortunate that not more people speak in french or it might be a little audio to translate guide but C, is really a detail since we are English-speaking Canada. Bravo! We were impressed!

  • What makes this village feel authentic is that... many houses are indeed old houses that have been displaced from villages around and re-built on this site, so that they will be preserved for the many...  more »

  • I came here with my family from BC. It was well kept and clean. The staff were friendly enough and informative. My 2 yr old daughter loved the train that circled Carters field. We ate at the Harvest Barn where their selection was mediocre but the power went out. There was enough natural lighting though so it didn't affect us at all.
  • There is so much to see and do here! So many great opportunities to interact with history and life in the 1860s, I loved the demonstrations and traditionally made products. Ask about renting period costumes to walk around in; it makes the experience even better!
  • We had a wonderful day here with our 6 and 2 yr old kids. They had a blast going on a wagon ride and the miniature train as well as seeing all of the historic building and farm animals. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the restaurant/cafeteria on site was clean and yummy. I would definitely recommend checking this place out and spending a day here if you have kids!
  • Beautiful place to visit! A great glimpse of history. Make sure to wear comfy shoes and buy a fresh loaf of bread on your way out. Amazing!
  • Enjoyed traveling back in time. The reenactments were great. Food was good and they answered any question about the time period without hesitation. Friendly and entertaining.
