  • At each visit, the shows are beautiful. We learn a lot about our planet and our universe.

  • Amazing place to go with your kids or s/o. It's not expensive and it's fun and exciting :) they offer several different spectacles but some of them get sold out pretty quickly, so it's best if you buy the tickets online. Or you can also check the dates and show times and buy the tickets there on the spot if you want. Also forget about the boring uncomfortable chairs. At Rio Tinto Alcan they have bean bags :) sit very close to your kids and partner and enjoy the show :) Prices: I believe each show costs around $20 dollars but each show is about one hour length. And it's very very easy to get there using public transportation. You can just take the subway and walk there. There's also a mall nearby, so you can fix yourself a snack there before going to the planetarium.
  • This place was pretty cool. Got to watch a couple shows dealing with the solar system that I really liked. It was all in french but I was able to understand at LEAST half of it! But they do offer english and french shows, I was just with all french speaking people so we chose the french show. Definitely good to bring children to. I traveled there during the summer so it was packed but it was still something cool to see.
  • This place is amazing! Everything is new, clean and there is something to learn for kids, adults and basically everyone. They have a different presentation every once in a while and it is always very interesting and well made. I've been where a couple of time and the staff is always amazing and passionate about the subject and getting people interested at looking at the stars. It's a good place for a family or to go with your friends.
  • I love this place, we watched aurora light. It is really cool. I know they are just projector, but not sure will we go to see the real aurora or not. Good to see that without freezing. We had coffee before going in. The cafe is busy. They have a lot of options such as sandwiches, muffins and pastries even salads to choose!! We might come back again for another shows.
  • I really wanted to be impressed with the planetarium but I wasn't. The place was OK and it's nice that they have it but I wouldn't go again. I suggest a visit without the movie if you're in a budget. The movie they show about space was too long and honestly boring. The seating was uncomfortable and hurt my neck when I tried to see the whole overhead screen. I normally have a hard time falling asleep and fell asleep watching this movie twice!!! I went there because the Montreal Biodome was closed for renovations. The cafeteria food was impressively great tasting and healthy but price. I did like the "out of space rock" display they have. May be fun for kids.
