  • Great view from the city! A good place to see sunsets. You can either walk or bike on it. On the south (or East) side you can see downtown Montreal. And on the other side you can see the Olympic Park and have a great view of the fireworks festival.
  • Seeing from the other comments here, it seems like there are quite a few lame tourists that don't need much to be charmed. Some people even like to show that they can take a picture. What no one tells is how lame it is right before and after the bridge. The very best time to enjoy a visit on the bridge is during rush hours. There, you get plenty of time to admire the view around.
  • Pont Jacque-cartier de Montreal. A popular background for tourists taking pictures from Jacque-cartier pier at Vieux port de Montreal. Very romantic and is a truss cantilever bridge crossing St Lawrence river. 334m long not hard for runners - should be fun to run across if possible!
  • Amusement Parks on the island gives a lot to the comfort and scenery of driving on the bridge.
  • Beautiful bridge connecting Montreal to Jean Drapeau Park and Longueuil. You can walk across it to reach the park, but it's a long walk.
