  • Great view of the bridge on the corner of Sainte-Catherine East and De Lorimier near Papineau Metro. The bridge will be lit at night by Moment Factory starting in May 2017. Walk down to Notre-Dame St ...  more »
  • We spent a few hours in the Montreal old port and loved the views of the bridge in the background. the green color is different and pretty. This also must be avoided at rush hour traffic.  more »
  • Jacques Cartier discovered Canada and certainly here he visited many titles. And one of the most beautiful bridges leading to the island of Montreal is the Jacques Cartier Bridge. Its bright color Lokomotiv Moscow stands out amid the gray of the Montreal sky. On it of course all go, so you need to take into account the availability of traffic jams. The river Saint-Laurent in Montreal is not the largest, but the bridge is of impressive size, impresses with its power. Length-3 km 400 m it is somewhere here in the year 1535 anchor sailing vessel Jacques Cartier.

  • Seeing from the other comments here, it seems like there are quite a few lame tourists that don't need much to be charmed. Some people even like to show that they can take a picture. What no one tells is how lame it is right before and after the bridge. The very best time to enjoy a visit on the bridge is during rush hours. There, you get plenty of time to admire the view around.
  • Beautiful bridge connecting Montreal to Jean Drapeau Park and Longueuil. You can walk across it to reach the park, but it's a long walk.
  • Nice bridge but would be nice to be able to walk across. Might have been just closed for winter or maintenance.
  • A place not to miss while visiting Montreal. Very nice views early in the morning or late in the evening. Also a great place to observe the Montreal International Fireworks Competition
  • Will be more interesting with the lights installed for Montréals 375th
