  • This museum makes you live the birth of the city of Montreal. You begin with a multimedia session (not quite long and detailed for my taste) in a room overlooking the ruins of the old building. You will discover the old riverbed, passing north of the current (in the basement) Museum under the place d'Youville, the remains of the cemetery which was located in front of the original fort, the ruins of the paved streets, the stalls of merchants and guard posts. For history lovers. Visit of 3 hours minimum. You can eat on the spot in the restaurant located on the top floor or well bring your sandwich and eat in the lunch spaces in the Museum. Count $ 20 per adult.

  • It's a small museum, but you can get a quick course on Montreal's history. The place is small so there aren't many exhibits. However, the video they have is worth watching
