  • A park full of life's Jarry Park. Families who make barbecues, sportsmen who will train to run on the football field, baseball, deer lovers flying, walkers, some hockey players, couples for a romantic walk and so on. In summer, even at 10 pm - 11 pm, the Park is always filled by a number of people. This park in the Villeray district is really a crush, I was regularly late in the day to enjoy the sunsets on the deck.

  • Really very nice, wooded, spacious and well maintained. Ideal for a picnic with the kids.

  • A beautiful park with lots of greenery. There is also a beautiful fountain in the middle. Ideal for walking or jogging. Is also equipped in case you want to have a barbecue, activities recommended in summer days and warm: just bring the fixings from home and then the ashes used can be deposited in the bins specifically designed.

Where to stay in Montreal

If beautiful architecture and views over the water appeal, stay in the historic neighborhood of Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal), where you'll be a stone's throw from the best attractions in the city. If modern convenience is more important to you, look for accommodations in the downtown neighborhood of Centre-Ville, or head a bit farther out to the artsy district of Plateau Mont-Royal. LGBTI visitors might want to consider staying in The Village, Montreal's famously progressive hub of gay and lesbian culture.
