  • Beautiful Parks Canada bird sanctuary, be respectful towards the geese and you will get some very memorable photos and if you're lucky a very up close view of these beautiful birds. Land bridge leads over to the Machine Rapids where there are multiple benches and picnic tables, wonderful views of the rapids themselves as well as a week crafted and maintained park area with flowers and trees which enhances the experience. Definitely worth the trip and the time to see a wonderful gift from nature. The washrooms are located in a nearby public stage, but, they are a bit of a disaster sadly.
  • Perfect for bicycling, jogging/walking. Some surfers too. Beautiful view. Friendly and smiling people
  • Beautiful views. Stunning contrast between the rapids side and the pond/wetlands side, simultaneously within view.
  • Very nice place to walk around. Nice view on the Lasalle rapids. Excellent place to do bird observation. Major improvements have been made to pathways and access during summer 2016. Free access
  • This park has a beautiful secenary and is welcoming.
