  • This is one of our favourite activities on nice weekends. This park offers many activities for families and singles alike. Really, this is a portion of a Saint Lawrence river parkland that extends bet...  more »
  • Just after completing a small narrow path trail built on a former dam where once the time children practiced their first dives we enter an extraordinary garden with wild flowers where the roses and lilies like to compete in beauty. We breathe the heady scents while is lulled by the current of great intensity similar to the tutti of a great Symphony. Sometimes a fisherman or a poet to the vague look scrutinize the horizon no matter if a fish is approaching or if the word occurs in the poem.

  • What beautiful park! Kilometers of greenery along the River with in the background the Lachine Rapids. You can walk there on foot or by bike. Many benches and picnic tables are available. Ideal for families or groups. A nice place to view wildlife and to escape for a few hours from the excitement of downtown!

  • In this location you can get great pictures. You can bring your kids, take pictures of birds, sunrise and sunset. Also this is a bird sanctuary. It's beautiful. Photographers like this place for wedding photography. If you're a photographer you need to check this park. You can take walks here and run. The best times are sunrises and sunsets to visit this location.
  • Very nice open park with lots of open space. There is also a 🐦 sanctuary in the back with a nice view of the rapids which I was quite surprised to see as I was not aware that it existed. The bike path also makes it easily accessible and there is even a Bixi station, the last one going west so an easy bike to the metro.
  • Beautifully place! The torrent is amazing.
  • Always clean, many birds of all types, small bridges, surrounded by water, usually open all year round even during winter. This year was closed because of tides. Open sept. 2017
  • Went on a cloudy day but really cool spot! Definitely need to come back and have a picnic and walk to the little Island. Cool marble sculpture as well. Very quaint "getaway" from the city with open water views and sound!
