(4/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Experience lifelike representations of figures important to Canadian history and culture as well as international figures when you visit Musee Grevin. Opened in 2013, the museum acts as an extension of the Paris museum of the same name. The museum houses more than 100 wax figures with plans to continuously add more. Marvel at the likeness in wax of figures like Celine Dion, Albert Einstein, Leonardo DiCaprio, and more. Do not miss the interactive exhibit that shows you what you would look like as a wax figure, too. Musee Grevin is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Montreal Edition.

  • I've been to a couple of wax museums, and what I liked about this one is that you can use props to pose with the statues. It's just a fun place to visit to take silly photos. We also happened to be th...  more »
  • We spend about 2 hours to see the Wax Museum, the statues are so life like, excellent job!! and its fun to take a photo with all the celebrities!
  • 2nd visit to this museum. The characters have real air... Except maybe Gerard Depardieu... Otherwise, everything is perfect. Do without fault.

  • Where: Grévin Montréal - Montreal, Quebec What: A wax museum in the Eaton centre. How was it: They do a good job of advertising the place, even though they are located on the very top floor (almost hidden) in the Eaton Centre. It was a fun experience but expensive so a one time thing for us. We're not big on museum type outings but we enjoyed ourselves. They have many famous people as well as Quebec born celebrities. Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 3.5 Recommend: It's nice to check out. The museum is expensive and so is the gift shop / restaurant.
  • Grevin Museum is definitely a place you MUST visit in Montreal. It feels amazing to see great people's waxed figures and it feels amazing to be next to them. The entrance is also very charming and it's absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this location because of extremely friendly people, nice interior and an amazing experience with an unbelievable great value.
  • The main wax exposition is nice and fun, but don't bother going there for the Mario & Friends, it's not worth it : there are only a few video game stations (Wii U and DS) where you can play some of the game with some information panels about various characters in the Mario universe.
  • The "Super Mario & Friends" exhibit is such a scam! Only one statue, a few cardboard cutouts (shame!) and a room full of WiiUs and Nintendo DSs. Space is poorly thought out too, with the only figure in front of a big timeline on the wall everyone wants to read so you can rarely catch a good pic. For the cost of the family pass, you're better off buying a WiiU game than coming here. What a ripoff. The other statues were ok, with the most eerie being the ones pretending to be crowd or staff.
  • I had a great time. The waxworks were at times eerily lifelike and it was an enjoyable activity. There's lots of photo opportunities and it's relatively reasonably priced. Was unsure of the purpose of the 5 minute art video before entry which seemed completely unrelated. Overall would recommend.
