  • I adore visiting cemeteries and was delighted with this one. The variety of plots reflects the diversity of the city itself and I adored seeing the changes and shifts. If you are in the Mount Royal ar...  read more »
  • It is easy to get from the metro station mount Royal is taken the bis number 11, which leaves them just opposite the cemetery, hence you can cross the street and you will find a great Park for picnicking, meditate, spend the day. Then if only a 6-minute walk to reach the viewpoint is beautiful is an easy and pleasant site. The Park is open until the at this time are changed the leaves of the trees in summer to autumn what makes it even more beautiful

  • Very very beautiful place. Beautiful monuments, smooth green grass. Only get to it will not be easy.

  • My wife and I went for a lovely walk through this cemetery, and chatted with Eddy, one of the groundskeepers. Nice man. Gave us some history of seeing Pierre Elliott Trudeau strolling through this park eons ago. Such a peaceful place. Can honestly say that I I have never taken a stroll through a cemetery before but this is worth doing! Wear good shoes as the hike to the highest point will test your legs!
  • I spend a lot of time in cemeteries so I am alive unlike the other comments below. I do family history and also finding the place of famous dead folks. My first trip here in April of 2014, was a wash out as it was much too early in the cemetery season to go walking through the snow. I hope to visit again shortly like in two weeks and will write a follow up from this note here. The lady told me in the office that they have a app which will take you right to the stone you are looking for. Nice but I have no iPhone, etc. I will have to do this the old way. Sat Oct the 17th I will be back and hope to find the famous graves I could not find a few years ago. My visit is now done for the October 2015. I was in town for a hockey game and had to visit here. With the help of the office staff and you will need their help, I found the graves of Toe Blake, which I walked past, Howie Morenz which I walked past right near the tree, and John Redpath which I drove past. This cemetery is massive and I have been in a lot of them. Mark your GPS Unit before you leave the office, or you will NEVER find your way back. There are two ways to get into the cemetery both on opposite sides of the cemetery. Visit the office before you head out, you will need their help.
  • Great cemetery. I enjoy being buried here very much. Very cute and quiet, ideal for couples.
  • Nice to walk around and contemplate life!
  • Peaceful place to stroll
