  • Very interesting excursion. This ancient settlement, stone, dates from the 18th century. Here, diligently trying to save and support life, lifestyles and habits of the time. Shows the daily life of the people and the first settlers of the city, and very clearly. A good Museum, there is also a small garden, very well maintained, vintage barn. I was wondering.

  • In my opinion, it's the best Museum of the history of Montreal. The place is always administered with a master hand by the sister of the Congregation of our Lady and sounds: is impeccable and the guides are really well trained. For Quebecers (es) down the Roy girls, you should have a duty to go through it. The place, which was already very beautiful, yet improved in recent years and there are now a great shop with a snack. I particularly recommend to visit the place a summer Sunday there is still animation and special activities. The main building is one of the oldest in Montreal and she is just beautiful, in an amazing condition. The visit of the attic is worth visit. Really, to see and hear... I can't wait to have children to be able to get them there... :-)

  • So cute n informative. Great history. Guide was very knowledgeable. City Bus stops a few blocks away.
  • I loved the outside of the building and the gardens. There wasn't too much to do or see here though.
  • Maison st. Gabriel is a gorgeous little gem in the heart of Montreal. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful....a museum that is not to be missed. Make sure to visit the tea room. The ambiance is amazing.
  • Beautiful historic place. It's worth the visit. There was even a glassblowing workshop. The gentleman was awesome! My family loved ;-)
