Japanese Garden, Montreal

Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Any time of the year, Japanese Garden offers a quality time spent among beautiful plants. Designed by the late Ken Nakajima, an acclaimed Japanese landscape architect, and opened in the summer of 1988, the garden makes a favorite relaxation spot for both locals and tourists. After overcoming the initial challenge of caring for plants from a different climate, the garden continued to bloom and add new species every year. In winter, some of the more sensitive plants get moved inside, but during the warmer months you get to experience all the garden's glorious smells and colors. Relax with family and friends, or have lunch in the park’s restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere.
