  • Truly fantastic. The best winter displays and Santa Claus experience I've seen in my lifetime. Quebec really has a high standard when it comes to Affordable activities for families. Although this is a private space it is very respectful of the public aspect. When we were there there was an all-encompassing light sound and water fountain art show that was truly inspiring.
  • Fantastic and large indoor shopping and mall complex. The food court is nice with a large selection of restaurants. The center Court is vibrant year around with a huge fountain in the middle. However parts of the complex are very 70's feeling but they have done a good job modernizing the whole complex complete with interactive touch screens. If you want to escape the cold or eat thus us the place for you!
  • Nice place to stay for lunch & a winter break. Had a good store varaity and a well provide food court. It's surrounded by interesting places that you can access through the underground city.
  • Easy to roam around...good for kids....decent brands...food options available...information desk is very helpful. Wheelchair accessible....they had a Christmas market right opposite when I traveled there in mid-Dec which was nice....
  • It's a huge mall, and has lots of shops. Ok, that's normal, but in a freezing cold Montreal winter, you can also walk around without getting frostbite, and get to and from the metro from indoors. And there's a wine store, too. Both of those were a huge plus!

Where to stay in Montreal

If beautiful architecture and views over the water appeal, stay in the historic neighborhood of Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal), where you'll be a stone's throw from the best attractions in the city. If modern convenience is more important to you, look for accommodations in the downtown neighborhood of Centre-Ville, or head a bit farther out to the artsy district of Plateau Mont-Royal. LGBTI visitors might want to consider staying in The Village, Montreal's famously progressive hub of gay and lesbian culture.
