  • We go to the zoo at least once a year. There have been some amazing renovations done at the zoo over the past couple of years. It's a well planned layout, the animals are usually easy to spot and are often quite playful. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Moncton area.
  • I visited magnetic hill zoo this summer with my friends. It was fun .It was really worth to visit .Clean environment and a well maintained zoo .Captured some beautiful pictures from there. You need to spend some time .it will be more fun if you go as group .You will see the detailed description of the animals there.
  • Absolutely fantastic zoo. Saw several animals we've never seen before and the goats wouldn't let us near the food, kept nibbling us when we went to get it from the feeder! Amazing playground right in the middle of the park. Beautiful and well kept, and the animals are definitely well taken care of. Washrooms are well taken care of as well. Definitely coming back!
  • It's a great zoo. We travel there from saint John. Our kids love the play structure there and the tiger exhibit.
  • The zoo is a great place for families, and even a fun choice for a date. The Wild Lights are so beautiful during the winter months!

Where to stay in Moncton

The center of the city remains the most popular place to stay, with the appropriately named Main Street offering the best selection of hotels. Using this area as your base, you'll be just a stone's throw from the water, the pleasant Riverfront Park, and the city's main train station. For a more budget-friendly option, look to the motels a few blocks back from the water, along St. George Street. If you're just passing through, consider staying at one of the chain hotels near the airport, to the east of the city.
