  • Square One is overall probably one of the best shopping complexes in the GTA area. There's a great range of shops here, especially higher class fare for those so inclined (I just look in the windows of these). The renovations a few years ago have really improved the overall decor of the space. It's also a good transportation hub given the amount of different buses that arrive here and there's a variety of different facilities (library, cinema, etc.) in very close proximity.
  • If you want to shop almost everything, this is the best place. However, for a person who visits Square One for the first time, it might be hard to navigate to desired store. Still, information desk staff was very nice. Its food court used to be good but food quality started to get lower as I visited more recently.
  • I remember the early 70s before it was covered with a roof. It was a much different world and mall then today. I can remember a time when horses were eating grass in the field where the Marilyn Monroe towers are today. And when city hall was at the cibc building. I remember 78 when the derailment happened and square one acted as a shelter all those buses lined up with people. If square one could talk it would have some stories I'm sure.
  • Square One is a place for the mid-high class. They have a good food court with plenty of options. The prices are a bit higher than I would like them to be. Overall, its a decent place for all shoppers to go.
  • Awesome mall, layout, design and stores are all great. Varies from Walmart to Rolex and everything in between. Open spacious, with tons to do and plenty of free parking! A few more lounges wouldn't do no wrong either.
