Port Credit, Mississauga

(4.6/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Take a walk through Port Credit, a neighborhood located in a scenic position next to a lake. Sitting where Lake Ontario and Credit River meet, the district has historically been separate from the city. Although it merged in the 1970s, the neighborhood still retains a pleasant village look and feel, with local independent stores, squat buildings, and plenty of open space for recreational activities and nature exploration. Stroll along the boardwalk by the marina, stopping off in the small eateries and bars, and gaining extensive views of the lake and the river. Put Port Credit and other Mississauga attractions into our Mississauga vacation planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • its massive with lots of area for kids and cyclists joggers etc benches to sit on and grab a bite while looking at sea. very clean too. if you want some peace and quiet this is it free of cost!!!
  • This area is a great area for Date nights and stuff. More so in summer. Tons of cool stuff to see and do. Great walking date spot.
  • Want to find a village within the city, this is a great place to come and hang out. I would say it is best in the summer when you can enjoy this vibe of all of the patios and water edge.
