A great place for both kids and adults, Playdium offers an exciting destination where everyone can play. Located on an area of 4.5 hectare (11 acres), the park offers everything from video games to batting cages. The main building houses a wide array of arcade games, updated in 2015 to include the latest entertainment. Included in the game floor is a full-service diner as well. Head to the rock-climbing wall or bowling lanes for a more sport-centered good time, or head outside for batting cages, bumper cars, go-karts, bungee trampolines, and mini-golf. • First time visiting. Got pretty much what I expected. Had some fun and enjoyed most of the games. It seems like the staff could use a morale boost, they were more interested in their own conversations that tending to their guests. The cleanliness of the location is not very good, some items looked like they haven't been cleaned in years.
  • Lots of fun for kids birthday parties. Since they serve "pizza pizza" for the meal I would suggest also carrying the dairy free cheese for those who don't/can't consume dairy. Would be a great idea!
  • Great facility, came here to use the batting cage with the boys, fees are reasonable. I recommend getting the $50 card. The line ups were few, and facility was clean.
  • Playdium is basically like a casino for kids and teenagers. Everything is very entertaining, flashy and loud and there are plenty of games to play. When I was a teenager, I liked my experience there even though things got slightly redundant and repetitive after a while. Being an adult now, I think this kind of place is rather soulless. However, I would probably take my kids there if I had the occasion to offer them an interesting experience for about an hour or so.
  • Haven't been to playdium in a while. Very convenient to have it next to square one! Spent a good hour or 2 here!

Where to stay in Mississauga

Mississauga is best known for housing Toronto's airport-- most of the city's accommodations cluster just a few minutes from the terminal. If you're looking for a place to rest before your flight, you'll find a range of options on Dixon Road, to the north of the airport, or on Eglington Road West to the south. Don't expect much character--your options include mid-range chain hotels and basic inns, with little else on offer. You can find a handful of business-oriented hotels in the city itself, mainly located around Burnhamthorpe Road.
