  • I had a fun experience here. This place is very good at hosting a birthday party because of the massive selection of games. It also has a go-kart track in the back of the building. Definitely will recommend to any person wanting to host a birthday party.
  • Playdium is fun for kids and the family. I don't know why they got rid of the 3D rides they used to have in the room that is now for corporate meetings, that was the best part of play dim. It's still an alright place to go, except some of the young staff are very unhelpful. The washrooms are not maintained, and could be cleaned a lot better. The food options are limited and very overpriced.
  • This place needs some serious love and care. While the staff was nice and helpful, and some of the newer games were cool, many of the games are very old and some of them don't work well. One of the first person shooters I tried just wasn't aiming, and one of the car racing games I tried had a very fuzzy screen. They charge you for 'tokens' up front, but when you get in, most of the games cost between 4 and 6 tokens, with the new (and actually cool games) costing between 20 and 30 'tokens'. The food court - again, very nice staff - was like your usual pizza joint - but all the booth seats were ripped and covered with duct tape, which was again ripped. I went when I was in high school, shortly after it first opened, and that was a very cool experience. This time it felt mostly sad. This place needs some serious loving care. I was disappointed to find no classic arcade style games, just a lot of shooters, racing games and most (about 60%) of games give you 'tickets' which can then be redeemed for 'prizes'. If you have never been to Playdium, it's worth a visit, however, don't expect a lot of top of the line games. I don't recommend the '2 hour play card', as it won't let you use the newer games (the ones that cost ~ 20 tokens each), which are by far the best thing in there.
  • This is the amusement central. All my family and friend who visit Canada are taken there. It is a must. The Games are nice. I must say that since the upgrade a lot of the fun for me has been removed. I think the fun was in collecting the tickets and seeing who had the most. But all in a a wonderful place to go play some game.
  • I went here exclusively to play pinball. They had a few good examples of newer Stern machines, and a beautiful Wizard of Oz machine from Jersey Jack Pinball. A couple of the machines were in less-than-great shape, as the right flipper on the Iron Man game was broken. The rest of the games were in good condition. The arcade area itself was pretty clean, and it was a little crowded, but it's a big arcade.
