I have been going to this mall for over 30 years. It was great when I had no kids, great when I had known do, and still great. My one and only criticism is parking . Do not go on a wekend . Early morn...  more »

I like Dixie Mall, it has many stores, not bad choices for food. Winners store really helps out. Too bad Michaels store left, I was visiting Dixie Mall way more often when Michaels was there.  more »

Very limited sections, odd sizes in stores. The mall itself is long over due for a Reno. Walking through the doors and it's like walking into the 80s. I would not trust the food court either. If you're looking for basic clothing items (plain tees, etc) you may find a couple of deals. The sports clothing store had the best variety, and reasonably priced.

There are only a few stores at this mall that is worth going into. I often leave this place without buying a single item. Recently, they added this Animal Rider attraction in the middle of the mall. Parents pay for their kids to ride these little animal scooter things around the mall for a set amount of time. They are pretty cute and I am sure they are fun but I cannot tell you how many times I've almost been ran over because of careless kids.i have witnessed a woman who nearly fell over because a kid drove straight into her legs. If this type of thing is going to exist in a busy mall, it should be in a designated, fenced off area. I am not sure why malls are catering to kids so much these days. Their parents are not the ones who are spending tons of money. They are looking for cheap deals (and just want their bratty kids out of the house ) because they are on a budget. Malls should be catering to young adults who are earning an income and have little finicnal obligations. These are the people who are going to spend tons of money at the mall. Not the parents who are trying to feed 3 kids and pay for a mortgage. Shopping has become much less enjoyable over the years and Dixie mall is now a mall I will try to avoid

Been going to Dixie Mall for YEARS and I really have enjoyed watching the mall evolve over the years. It's really great to watch new stores come in at competitive pricing. We also LOVE the flea market... Always great finds down there. I feel like the food court could use a good reno, in my opinion, especially after seeing it as it is for so long... But I like some of the newer food options as well.

Pretty good mall with a good variety of stores. Seems to be well cleaned on the regular basis. Some great deals if you know where to look.

Another wowing Mall from the point of view of great prices and bargains. Some big brand's at great prices. CK suits and leather jackets at very low prices.

Where to stay in Mississauga

Mississauga is best known for housing Toronto's airport-- most of the city's accommodations cluster just a few minutes from the terminal. If you're looking for a place to rest before your flight, you'll find a range of options on Dixon Road, to the north of the airport, or on Eglington Road West to the south. Don't expect much character--your options include mid-range chain hotels and basic inns, with little else on offer. You can find a handful of business-oriented hotels in the city itself, mainly located around Burnhamthorpe Road.
