  • Loved the little tour we got. Very educational to see how people lived in the early days before Mississauga was established. Would be great for school trips or just a family outing.  more »
  • Hard to believe this hidden treasure is right here in Mississauga. Great opportunity to show the kids, or adults what life was like a hundred years ago. Expect to spend an hour or so here.  more »

  • We visited for the Maple Festival couple of years back. It was such fun, for kids and parents. We learned so much about how maple syrup was processed way back when. Oh, and the pancakes were delicious.
  • Amazing place, knew a lot about the process of Maple syrup , since the first nation till noways !!! In addition the staff of City of Mississauga are wonderful knowledgeable people
  • Really neat buildings and grounds. Go back in time to a simpler time. It's nice to stroll the grounds and peer through the windows of the buildings. I'm not sure of the hours, but there is a visitor centre on site and signage really helps learn about the past of the area.
  • Maple festival was a nice and informative event for young children.
  • Beautiful grounds and interesting historical exhibits. Runs excellent summer daycamps for local children.
