We just came back today from pumpkinland. We were there for about 4 hours. It was $13 per person. We had a great time. My son loved it, he had a great time the entire time we were there. We are planni... read more »
We went with 2 small children, parents and grandparents on a Friday. First you walk through a market area -- which had some nice produce. But the service was definitely not friendly. Once we had paid ... read more »
Went to this farm after not having visited in some 45 years. We used to go strawberry picking as children there. Was back for the Fall pumpkin patch, prior to Thanksgiving. It cost $54 for two parents... read more »
Amazing experience :))) I was like, I died and went to heaven :)) I went for strawberry, pea and potato picking. It was wonderful!!! It was a hot day, a busy day, and people did not listen to the staff at all in terms of where to pick, but I was not planning to stay for a long or to pick to much as I was there for the experience. They had wonderful, very fresh and heavenly delicious pies and other pastries. All in all, great experience.
I love supporting local producers. Use to pick strawberries here with my parents as a kid, some 30 years ago and now I've started that tradition with my family. Also, the price of pick your own strawberries is so much better than Ontario strawberries in the supermarket and obviously fresher too. I look forward to going back for raspberries and other seasonal produce once it's in season and will take my kids to the Fun Farm too. My advice to anyone who wants to go to pick your own is get there early. It'll be busy but if you're patient and don't mind walking a bit you'll have no problem finding parking and it'll be worth it!
Today was very first time to go Raspberry picking. Staffs are friendly, well trained and berries and beans are so good. great experience to y family. Before I visit there, I check there website for more information. They have good website for picking schedule and facility and more... :)) Easy to find the place. I went to Gate 1 for green beans and Yellow beans. I got three kinds of beans for $8.50. Move to Gate3 for Raspberry picking. I purchased a container for $1.50, next time I will bring my own container. Huge Raspberry field and staffs were guide us to go where has many berrys. We don't need to waljing around to find more berrys. I like that guidance. I got a full container and paid $12. I usually buy Raspberries from costco, But this is the best way to have Raspberries for during the winter. I need to go back to have more berries before it finished. We stop at the Famera shop for sweet corns and pies. ( I checked the website, so I knew what i want to buy from the shop) I got the sweet corns , zucchini, grren onions, Apple cider(1L) and respberry pies. I really enjoy my day here. I am living at North York , this farm is only 30 minutes away. I want to buy more veggies and fruits here to support Local farm. :) They deserve 5 stars.
Worst experience of my life. It's was crowded way beyond belief and people were just picking strawberries wherever they wanted. There were thistles in the fields and my daughter her mother and myself were stabbed by these things countless times The strawberries were the worst I've ever seen and the the staff did nothing about the pillaging going on by countless people. Then the fun land cost over 50$ just so I could watch my daughter play on crappy slides and other things I don't even know what they were. The food was overpriced and really terrible. I'll never be going back that place again and I recommend people take their hard earned money elsewhere.
A few of us went here. Strawberries were very sweet- probably, the sweetest I've ever had. Raspberries were ok, but they weren't in season then so maybe that's why they were sour. Would come back! Love their customer service. Everyone is always super nice.
