  • Love love love this mall! Surprisingly the prices are either the same or a bit lower than what you would find online, say on places like AliExpress. As well, it's nice to be able to see what you're buying and not ending up with things that don't match the picture. There are many many bubble tea and food places here. The stores are tiny, save a few bigger ones upstairs. If you want to go through the whole mall, give yourself some time! Parking lot is always very full.
  • Had a fantastic lunch at sun's kitchen. Got a pair of prescription sunglasses for way less than I would have anywhere else. It's very different from a typical mall in North America. Hundreds of tiny stalls with walls. It wasn't as busy as I feared.
  • The largest Asian mall in North America. I would say it's more akin to a massive Asian flea market mall, though. This is the place to go for a standard cellphone silicon or hard case for a good price. It's definitely a place you must visit at least once. Being a local, I don't come too often to shop since it's mostly gadgets and trinkets and other unique items, but it's good to walk around to see what's new once in a while. I do frequent the food courts though since there's quite a good variety of quick Asian eats at mostly cheap prices. Make sure to get a bubble tea (boba tea for the Americans) and some snacks like curry fish/beef balls if you plan to walk around and browse! Parking is definitely difficult as this place is very busy and it's open 24/7/365.
  • A lot has changed over the years at Pacific Mall. No longer is it THE place for finding unique imports, and great prices on electronics. There is still some interesting stuff to find, but it's mostly the same 5 types of stores over and over again with prices that match everywhere else. I'm not sure it's worth going unless you're in need of something specific.
  • If you're looking for Asian candy, drinks, food or electronics, this is your place. The deals are amazing, IF you can find them... that's the tricky part. The mall is laid out as a grid, with each tiny cubicle holding another store. It can be extremely confusing, so do pay attention where you're going, otherwise you'll find yourself walking in circles. Upstairs, by the food court, is a great hardware store. Be sure to check it out!
