Pacific Mall, Markham

(2.2/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Experience Hong Kong in Canada at Pacific Mall. At 25,000 sq m (270,000 sq ft), the mall offers almost everything, from clothes to homewares, as well as a dental clinic and numerous gadget stores where you can buy new devices or repair your damaged goods. Have a snack or a drink in one of the Chinese restaurants, and treat the kids with a visit to the video game arcade. It’s best to visit the mall on weekdays, or early weekend mornings to avoid parking problems. Put Pacific Mall and other Markham attractions into our Markham trip itinerary maker, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Need any cell phone accessories? Come here. Need some bubble tea? Come here. Need to find a parking? Gotta wait a few mins on the weekends. Try coming in during morning hours on a weekday. Otherwise this place is pretty cool.
  • Okay there's a lot of sameness here, but if you explore there's still unique shops and offerings especially tucked away upstairs. The food fares always seem to change. Plus lots of new Asian beauty/cosmetics stores are here!!! GO when it's busy because otherwise the store clerks will follow you around like a hawk... There's apparently no such thing as window shopping, ha.
  • Good place to get cheap Chinese knick knacks. Fixed my iPad screen here and was very happy with the result, at an acceptable price. Shop around and haggle though, went to 3 places and the price dropped by half
  • Scam. Worst experience ever. A friend recommended a plan one joined recently so I went in and had a talk with the agents. The plan was pretty good so decided to sign up. An agent did a credit check on me, then suggested that I have to pay extra and extra conditions, which was not mentioned earlier, and I asked explicitly if the contract includes such terms, the answer was no (Bg info: The plan my friend joined has no special offer, also they did a credit check on me). Stay away from this store.
  • I got a screen protector put on and in less than a week the protector is bubbling up and lifting on the edge. The owner refuses to replace the protector but would give me a $5 discount on a $35 glass protector after I spent $25 on the original protector. This place does not stand behind the products they sell or their workmanship and have no problem screwing you out of your money. Avoid this place at all cost unless you like throwing your money in the toilet. The same scumbag also owns Pacific Mobile which also should be avoided!
